Pete Blackshaw, who's year-end blog wrap up I missed because I was under the weather, has some interesting predictions for what 2005 is going to bring for marketing.   I like the first one the most: "Blogs absorb flak, yet stay on track"...meaning, yes there is a blog hype, but after the hype fades, blogs will remain, and thrive.

RSS as your personal online paperboy.   Good meme.   I think it will catch on and help non-techies grasp it.   I can't imagine trying trying to track all the information sources I do without RSS.   I use Sage for Firefox, myself.
  
Let's hope RSS catches on in 2005 like blogs did in 2004.
